
A Spar North of England customer has won a year’s supply of bread and milk thanks to James Hall & Co.’s Price Locked campaign.
During August and September, customers were invited to take part in a Show Us Your Sandwich competition which ran on Spar North of England’s social media accounts, attracting photos of delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch creations.
Tiffany Hodgson’s eye-catching entry of a bacon, lettuce and tomato salad sandwich won her the monetary equivalent of a Warburtons 800g Toastie and a four-pint bottle of Spar milk every week for the next year.
Tiffany (centre), who lives in Scarborough and is a regular at Spar Falsgrave Road, said: “As soon as I saw the competition, I was interested in entering. I really enjoy cooking and being inventive with the food that I make.
“I made my sandwich appear as mouthwatering as it could and then took photos of it in different parts of the house for the best backdrop and for the perfect light!”

The Price Locked campaign features hundreds of key products with long-term fixed prices. It includes daily essentials like milk, bread, frozen food, other fresh and ambient necessities, and alcohol.
