Sales of Euro Shopper products have hit £150m, according to Booker.

The milestone meant that independent retailers were benefiting from an extra £50m of profits going through their stores, Steve Fox, sales director for retail said.

“With value being increasingly important, Euro Shopper will continue to go from strength to strength,” Fox added. “The brand was only launched in Summer 2007 which makes this achievement even more tremendous. With minimum POR’s guaranteed at 30% and a fantastic choice of products, Euro Shopper is the fastest growing brand in convenience.”

Earlier this month Booker held a national retailer competition to find the best Euro Shopper display. The top prize was bagged by Premier retailers Mark and Sally Mottram of Halton Lodge in Runcorn. The pair received £1,000-worth of free Euro Shopper stock and a product giveaway, fronted by Santa himself.

Their winning display featured a two metre bay of ambient products that were well presented with the full POS kit to drive sales.

“We have a really big display in store as it sells really well with our shoppers who tell us that it is one of the reasons why they come to us,” Sally said. “Having Santa here brought a real buzz to the shop and the £1,000 of free stock will prove to be of great benefit for us as people will be looking for great value in January.”
