Retailers who can drive appeal among families are set to take a chunk of the £115.2m retail opportunity generated by the FIFA Women’s World Cup Semi Finals.

The Women’s World Cup 2023 Spending Report from VoucherCodes.co.uk reveals that 90% of the 9.3 million UK supporters set to tune in to the Lionesses match tomorrow (Wednesday) will do so from the comfort of their own homes. 

Due to the match taking place at 11am, fans are expected to stock up on breakfast and brunch items, wih food and drink sales along accounting for £87m. A further £5m will be spent on merchandise and £4.7m on decorations as consumers cheer on England.
