Independent retailer-friendy tech platform, Snappy Shopper, has announced the successful launch of home delivery services across three West Yorkshire stores, generating more than 4,000 orders and more than £100,000 in sales in under two months.
Barry’s Premier Halton Moor, Taylor’s Foodstore and Premier Drighlington have enhanced their delivery services, now offering fast and reliable delivery to customers. The expansion highlights the growing demand for local, efficient home delivery in the convenience retail sector and underscores Snappy Shopper’s role in helping independent retailers thrive in the digital age.
“Snappy Shopper has been a game changer for us,” said Kevin Wilson, owner of the stores. “The Shopmate EPOS integration has made a big difference. We can now offer real-time stock updates which wasn’t possible with our previous provider. We’ve seen significant growth in a short period of time.”
Barry’s Premier Halton Moor (Leeds) and Taylor’s Foodstore (Holmfirth) made the transition to Snappy Shopper in April. Meanwhile, Premier Drighlington (Bradford), which had never offered deliveries before, has already secured orders within its first week of operation earlier this month, showcasing immediate customer demand.
Each store launched with customer offers funded by Snappy Shopper, including £10 off the first order for new customers at Barry’s and Taylor’s Foodstore, and £10 off the first three orders for Premier Drighlington. These have been supported by online promotions, such as 50% off big brands, to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
Since joining Snappy Shopper, the three stores have collectively generated more than 4,000 orders, equating to more than £100,000 in sales in just under two months.
Barry’s Premier Halton Moor has also taken advantage of Snappy Shopper’s vehicle marketing strategy, with a branded car wrap showcasing Kevin’s face, which has become a community talking point. The eye-catching wrap has turned the vehicle into a moving billboard, driving high visibility across the community and increasing local brand recognition.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Kevin and his stores to the platform,” said Mike Callachan, CEO of Snappy Shopper. “These are exactly the kind of community-first stores we love to support and the early results are a perfect example of how independent retailers can accelerate growth, expand their reach and maintain a strong local presence with the right technology and marketing tools.”
