The Co-op has just welcomed a community into its newest store launch, serving the locals of a new residential development and the surrounding areas of Kennington, near Ashford in Kent.
The new Brook Court’s Co-op, located in Harrison Lane, has created 18 local jobs and will serve the community between 7am-10pm daily.
The online home delivery of groceries is offered via Deliveroo, Just Eat, Uber Eats, with orders picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the community. Electric vehicle charging is also available on site.
Ian Rowe, Co-op’s area manager in the region, said: “We’re delighted to invest in Kennington, and proud to launch Co-op’s newest store. We have a focus on offering quality products, value and choice that can be enjoyed by everyone, there are deals and promotions throughout the store alongside a range of added services to make everyday life easier for our community.”
