Spar is running a series of weekly promotional deals to help retailers drive sales during key events this year.

A new wave of activity will hit stores in time for the August Bank Holiday from 25-31August.

Promotions on brands including Stella, Ben & Jerry’s, Coca-Cola, Perlezza Prosecco and Cathedral City will be backed by a ‘Bank HoliYAY’ media creative plus activity on social media, radio and mobile advertising.

Laura McNally, Spar UK senior marketing manager, said: “This year, we are keen to focus on generating even better footfall for our retailers with these weekly deals.

 “This activity focusing on Bank Holidays, Christmas and the New Year, and is set to encourage new shoppers to visit our retailers and existing shoppers to shop with them more often.

“The Summer Bank HoliYAY campaign also helps amplify our messages and attract shoppers to our stores, including the elusive millennials, who a share of our marketing will target directly,” she added.
