The Webb Group has reached the 300 store mark for its Rent it Here DVD network.

The Nisa Local store in Market Drayton, North Shropshire is the 300th store to install the DVD rental service.

Nisa direct to store trading manager Steve Hodson was pleased with the results of the service so far. “We have been very impressed with the Rent it Here concept and it’s a welcome addition to our stores,” he said. “Currently we have the pods in 41 stores nationwide and are looking to roll out further across our network.

“At just 0.2 square metres in measurement, the pods effectively maximise floor space, footfall, basket spend and allow our consumers to get even more from their Nisa store.”

The Webb Group is planning to increase its estate to 500 stores by early 2012 and is also targeting the hotel sector.

Marketing director David Robinson said: “We have already exceeded our expansion targets with over 80,000 customers now using our pods and looking for news sites for further.”
