Kerry Foods’ Yollies are to enter the convenience channel.
The chilled yogurt on a stick, previously only sold in Asda, will be available to Nisa stores from 9 November. Yollies come in strawberry and raspberry flavours in packs of 4x25g lollies. They will have an introductory price of £1 before reverting to the standard rrp of £2.
Dairy marketing controller Lee Willett said: “Yollies are perfect for lunchboxes, out-of-home and after-school eating. Some 84% of parents said they would definitely or probably buy Yollies for their kids, so we are confident that Yollies will unlock a massive new opportunity for retailers.”
Yollies will be launched into other convenience channels in 2015. The product is supported by a £5m marketing campaign.
