Warburtons has moved into the bagged snacks sector with two new baked savoury products.
Chippidy DooDaa are chips made from pieces of pitta bread, available in mature cheese & spring onion, sea salt & black pepper and chilli jack flavours. The products are baked rather than fried, so contain 60% less fat than regular crisps.
40g impulse bags have a rrp of 64p, while 150g sharing packs, available in mature cheese and salt & pepper styles, have a rrp of £1.79.
The second new line is a wholegrain snack called Snack A Doodle, available in Cheddar cheese & onion and sweet chilli flavours, with a rrp of 53p, or £2.20 for a multipack of six.
The impulse bags are packed in 24-unit outers. All the snack products are available from both wholesalers and Warburtons’ fleet of bread delivery vehicles from March 15.
