Ready to drink (RTD) alcohol brand Hooch has announced it is ramping up its presence in the UK with a new, nationwide Co-op listing for its Cherry variant, hitting shelves from 25 May.
Originally launched in summer 2025, Hooch Cherry has quickly become a standout addition to Hooch’s range. Delivering a sweet and tangy cherryade profile, the drink “resonates strongly with summer occasions, from barbecues and at-home socialising to festivals and outdoor gatherings,” Hooch said.
The listing follows a successful Tesco rollout this April, which saw both Hooch Cherry and Lemon land on shelves nationwide, signaling growing retailer confidence in the brand’s performance and appeal.
The continued expansion of Hooch’s flavour range has been a key driver of overall brand growth, ”broadening consumer choice and increasing penetration across key retail channels,” it said.
The Co-op listing extends the brand’s reach further into the convenience channel, increasing availability of its 3.4% abv ‘sessionable’ range at a time when demand for accessible, lower strength formats is growing.
Hooch Cherry will sit alongside Hooch’s original Lemon variant in Co-op stores across the country, which is currently included in the retailer’s ‘4 for 3’ promotional offer. The alcoholic lemonade balances nostalgic 90s appeal with a crisp, modern drinking profile.
All of Hooch’s range is made with triple-distilled vodka, is gluten-free, vegan, and designed for easy, ready to drink enjoyment.
Jacob Barrett, senior brand manager at Hooch, said: “Securing a nationwide Co-op listing for Hooch Cherry marks a significant step in expanding our footprint within convenience at a time when RTDs are outperforming the wider drinks category.
“Cherry is continuing to be a standout flavour driver in the RTD category as shoppers seek bold, fruit-led profiles and this listing allows us to bring this popular flavour to more convenience shoppers at pace.
“Co-op is a key partner for us in expanding distribution of trend-led innovation, and Hooch Cherry is already proving its ability to deliver strong relevance for summer occasions and incremental category growth.”
The 440ml cans carry an RRP of £2, with the full range available to purchase online in 12-pack 440ml cans (RRP £24.50) and 6-pack 70cl bottles (RRP £18.50).
