Spar is giving customers the chance to win more than £250,000 worth of prizes throughout the summer as its footfall-driving ‘Shop & Win’ campaign returns.

There will be three different phases of the summer 2016 ‘Shop & Win’ campaign, with the first running from May 5 until July 13 and offering shoppers the chance to win an iPad Mini every single day along with the grand prize of a Sony 55” 4K TV.

There will also be a sales-driving initiative running in conjunction with Stella Artois to win VIP tickets to Wimbledon via purchase of one of their products. The final phases of activity will give customers a chance to win a 5 star trip to Rio de Janeiro, along with other sports-related prizes such as daily giveaways of carbon-framed bikes and Apple Watches. 

Andy Burt, Spar UK senior marketing manager, said: “Since its launch in August 2014, Shop & Win has seen incredible success, with its previous three campaigns driving over £1m worth of incremental sales.

“The campaign has been so successful in part due to the superb implementation from our brilliant SPAR retailers across the country. This has enabled SPAR to increase basket spend and encourage a younger consumer to start shopping with us.” 

‘Shop & Win’ will run for 19 weeks until September 14.
