Convenience retailers will soon have a new premium fascia option to chose from when Blakemore Wholesale launches its new Bmorelocal offer later this month.

The first two Bmorelocal stores are due to open in Immingham, Grimsby, on 4 June, and Swansea, South Wales, on 10 June, with a further 30 stores to open in the coming months.

Bmorelocal is Blakemore Wholesale’s premium store format, attracting “the best retailers with the highest store standards,” it said.

Retailers will have access to a full symbol group package including chilled, frozen, epos, food to go and drop shipments.

Independent retailers Marc and Wanda Winchester are due to launch the first Bmorelocal store in Swansea, South Wales.

The former Premier convenience store is located in the city centre and will offer the full Bmorelocal symbol group package, together with a self-serve Costa Express and food to go offering.

“We are delighted to be the first Bmorelocal store in Wales and will endeavour to ensure all our customers have a wonderful service from our staff and offer the community a fantastic range of products, at a great location in the city centre,” Marc said.

“We will be focused on great customer service to ensure that this business is a success. We have worked so well with Blakemore Wholesale to bring this whole new concept to life and are thrilled to be leading the way with their new fascia,” Wanda added.

Blakemore Wholesale’s charitable trust: the Blakemore Foundation, has also pledged to award each Bmorelocal store £200 to donate to a charity of their choice.

Blakemore Wholesale stores director Nick Rose said: “We are delighted to be working with the Winchesters on this new and exciting venture for both of us.

“Our premium Bmorelocal package has been developed to work with our customers in partnership and Marc and Wanda fit that mould perfectly.”
