GroceryAid Sporting Lunch 2025

The GroceryAid Sporting Lunch has helped raised £1,061,476 for the industry.

The annual event was held on 15 November at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London and was attended by more than 1,000 people from the sector.

Inspiring and heartfelt stories were shared from headliner Sir Andrew Strauss, a panel consisting of Billy Monger, Ellie Kildunne, Ellen White and Ben Youngs alongside appearances from more than 26 sporting heroes including Christine Ohuruogu MBE, Erin Kennedy OBE, Dion Dublin, Sir Jason Kenny, Beth Tweddle MBE and David Weir CBE.

An amazing £1,061,476 was raised by those in attendance to help GroceryAid continue to provide free and confidential financial, emotional and practical support to colleagues across the grocery industry.

Commenting on the money raised, GroceryAid chief executive Kieran Hemsworth said: “We’re incredibly humbled by the outstanding generosity shown at Friday’s Sporting Lunch. The incredible amount of money raised will make a meaningful difference to colleagues across the grocery industry who turn to GroceryAid for financial, emotional, and practical support.
