A man has been jailed after breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) which banned him from entering a store in Blackheath in the West Midlands, and who then went on a chocolate crime spree in four other stores over a number of weeks in complete disregard of the order.
Marcus Henry, 34 (above), was originally handed a CBO in May of this year, which banned him from entering a store on Halesowen Street in Blackheath for three years.
However, on 4 September he entered the store again, only to be recognised by one of the security guards. Henry then went on to commit a series of shop thefts in Dudley between 19 September and 7 October.
He targeted four stores in Lye, Halesowen and Merry Hill, stealing hundreds of pounds worth of chocolate.
Sandwell South has its own dedicated retail crime team that identify prolific offenders and bring them to justice.
Henry, from Halesowen, admitted to all the offences at a hearing at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court earlier this week and has been jailed for four weeks.
