An investigation has been launched following the theft of cigarettes and tobacco from a Hampshire convenience store, and police have just released CCTV footage from the incident of a man they wish to speak with.

The reported incident happened at Nisa Local in Fair Oak Road on 19 December, with the picture released by authorities this week. A total of £50 worth of items were taken from the store in Bishopstoke, in the region between Southampton and Chichester, police have said.

“We’re keen to identify the man pictured as part of our enquiries and urge anyone with information to contact police on 101, quoting 44240551523. You can also submit information to us online,” a spokesperson said.
