The judging panel for this category said shoppers at Morrisons Daily have recorded much improved scores for ‘product availability’ and ‘quality of fresh bread and bakery’ this year – playing a key role in seeing the average satisfaction score increase by +5% overall (within the managed convenience group competitive set). Improvements have materialised across the board, making the retailer the stand-out managed performer this year.
Britain’s Favourite Convenience Symbol Group: Spar
Judges noted an array of improvements for shopper satisfaction scores for Spar over the past 12 months – most notably in ‘prices’ and ‘ease of shop’.

According to Lumina Intelligence research, the retailer now possesses the highest average satisfaction within the symbols competitive set – increasing by +1% year-on year. An array of improvements for shopper satisfaction scores for Spar this year – most notably in ‘prices’ and ‘ease of shop’.
Retailers’ Favourite Symbol Group: Go Local
Go Local has held on to the strongest net promoter score this year – it also stands out amongst its competitive set for business support in the form of providing ‘information about the latest trends and new products.
