The East of England Co-op has announced work has now begun on-site to bring a brand-new, 3,000 sq.ft. food store to Hartree Way on Grange Farm in Kesgrave.
Work began this week, with local contractor Elliston, Steady & Hawes Ltd managing construction, with the new store set to open in late 2026.
Chief property and strategy officer for the East of England Co-op, Stuart McDonald, said: “We’re delighted work is beginning to bring the town of Kesgrave a first-class food store.
“We’re proud to be investing in Kesgrave and creating a fresh, modern and sustainable Food store designed to meet the needs of the fantastic community it will serve.”
