Ecoleaf bottles from vegetarian and sustainable products supplier Suma are now made of post-consumer recycled packaging (PCR) – plastic that has previously been used in a product that is then reprocessed and remade into something new.

Ecoleaf paper products, which are made from recycled paper, are now wrapped in paper which is 100% recyclable, and offers an alternative to brands who wrap their toilet and kitchen rolls in plastic. The outer packaging is also 100% home compostable.

Product developer Paul Collins said: “Packaging is an extremely important subject at the moment; everyone is looking at reducing single-use plastics. Ecoleaf has always been a leading green brand. As we’ve refreshed the look, we’ve also taken the opportunity to make packaging changes that make it more sustainable and greener. These are significant developments - we have listened to what people want and are happy with our new range”.

All Ecoleaf products are biodegradable and made in the UK. The brand’s cleaning products are plant-based, vegan, made with non-hazardous ingredients and never tested on animals. The carbon footprint of the brand’s paper products is offset by planting trees locally.
