NORTH DOWNS DAIRY, producer of Pilgrims Choice cheddar, is putting the brand back on TV. Due to hit the screens next week, the ads feature a series of tempting dishes, incorporating Pilgrims Choice Cheddar, which aim to alert consumers to the product’s versatility. Ads will run for four weeks in London, the South East, Anglia and Meridian TV regions, combined with press ads in women’s titles, in-store sampling, door drops and floor posters. North Downs Dairy managing director Mike Davies says: “We’re ambitious for the brand and are already preparing to announce new marketing, promotional plans and new products that will further our cause and persuade consumers that no-one beats us in branded, hand-selected, quality Cheddar on a national scale.” Recent additions to Pilgrims Choice have included minis, snack pack and vintage extra mature in sliced and grated formats.
