As part of its 2019 Christmas campaign: ‘Merry Biscuits Everyone’, global snacking company Pladis has lifted the lid on a series of festive goodies from McVitie’s.
The seasonal selection taps into the popularity of gifting tins and sharing formats with the relaunch of consumer favourites such as McVitie’s Victoria, McVitie’s Family Circle, McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Christmas Pole, and McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Christmas Tin.
In addition, the brand has also added some new products to its 2019 Christmas line-up to drive excitement through alternative consumption occasions. NPD includes: McVitie’s Gingerbread Men Decorating Kit and McVitie’s Luxury Chocolate Biscuit Selection.

McVitie’s Mini Gingerbread Men Decorating Kit
The new for 2019 McVitie’s Mini Gingerbread Men Decorating Kit contains five packs of gingerbread men and two icing pens, shoppers can get creative with their own personalised designs (rrp £2).
McVitie’s Luxury Chocolate Biscuit Selection
Another new launch for this year’s festive season is McVitie’s Luxury Chocolate Biscuit Selection – which is being marketed as the brand’s most premium Christmas product yet. Comprising 24 fully-coated chocolate biscuits – with milk, dark and white chocolate options – the 400g assortment features festive packaging an rrp of £10.
McVitie’s Victoria biscuit selection is a returning favourite and is packed with a selection of chocolate coated and uncoated indulgent biscuits, including some McVitie’s favourites such as the Fully Coated Chocolate Digestive and Milk Chocolate Shortcake. The selection is available in 100g (rrp £1); 300g (rrp £5); 550g (rrp £8); and 825g (rrp £11) boxes.
McVitie’s Family Circle
Another returning assortment is McVitie’s Family Circle, offering shoppers an everyday selection of biscuits for the whole family. This year, the assortment will be available in 360g (rrp £3); 620g (rrp £6); and 900g (rrp £8) boxes.
McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Christmas Pole and Tin
McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Christmas Pole (40 Jaffa Cakes / rrp £6) is expected to remain a footfall driver for Pladis, while the returning McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Christmas Tin (292g / rrp £10) offers consumers some excitement with a large, limited edition format shaped like a Jaffa Cake.
