Bahlsen UK, German biscuit brand, has launched a new addition to its PiCK UP! biscuit range.

Available now in multipacks of five with an rrp of £1.69 and singularly with an rrp of 40p, is the new Black N’ White biscuit bar featuring a slab of white chocolate inside two crisp chocolate flavoured biscuits.

Bahlsen has also launched a campaign to search for a ninja dog to be apprentice to PiCK UP!’s Ninja Chihuahua, whose quest it is to guard the chocolate bar. The campaign encourages consumers to upload videos of their own ninja pets onto the brand’s Facebook page, with the chance to be selected as one of six finalists.

Consumers will be able to vote for the dog they feel demands the greatest respect. The campaign is PR led, supported by product give-aways, extensive social media and a VOD advert linked to the PickUP! website.

Jonathan Duffin, Bahlsen general manager, said: “With the expansion of the PiCK UP! family, being back on TV and our distinctive ‘Dogs that Demand Respect’ campaign, we are expecting to see sales rise significantly this year.”
