New look packs of JTI’s premium cigarette brand Silk Cut will be available nationally in all trade channels from July.
The new-look Silk Cut logo has been given a contemporary twist and repositioned to the right side of the pack - the first time the logo has moved since the brand’s introduction in 1964.
The new packaging will first be introduced with a “New Design, Same Taste” message on the over printed film (OPF) to reassure existing adult smokers that the quality remains the same, with the new packaging rolled out permanently with a clear OPF from August.
The new look pack will be communicated on point of sale materials in cash and carrys in August.
Silk Cut Choice and Silk Cut Superslims will remain unchanged.
