Häagen-Dazs is aiming for a sales lift thanks to a packaging redesign. General Mills has introduced a more contemporary, shopper-friendly design that uses enlarged ingredient photography to make it easier to distinguish between flavours. The packs see the doily pattern replaced by a gold ribbon design, which symbolises the brand’s luxury, and gold colouring replaced by a warmer burgundy.
