Spar North of England’s chilled sandwich and wraps range has been freshened up for summer with four ‘flavoursome’ new additions, it has revealed
A Chicken & Chorizo on malted bread has been introduced, alongside a Coronation Chicken filling, also on malted bread. There’s also a classic Ham, Cheese & Pickle on white bread, while a BBQ Chicken wrap finishes the new line-up.
The summer themed recipes are complemented by the packaging, which “really stands out within the fridges from the regular Spar sandwiches range,” the supplier said.
All four new products are produced by James Hall & Co. Ltd and are in Spar North of England stores now. The range has also been added to Spar’s ‘£4.50 or less’ standard meal deal, which includes a snack and chilled bottled or hot drink.
The products are also part of James Hall & Co. Ltd’s 1p sandwich pledge, which sees a penny from every sale go to Marie Curie, Spar UK’s national charity partner.
Andrew Owen, head of fresh trading at James Hall & Co. Ltd, said: “We have a feast of a food to go line-up within our Spar North of England stores and our range of fresh sandwiches and wraps are a major part of it.”
