Retailers displaying a creative streak can win cash prizes with Payzone’s Winter Campaign team-up with E.ON and npower.
 
Running for 10 weeks until February 8, Payzone has set aside a cash prize of £200 for the retailer with the highest percentage sales growth in E.ON and npower transactions throughout the competition. There will be three £50 cash prizes for the best in-store or window display and another three £50 cash prizes for retailers with the best word of mouth campaign.
 
E.ON and npower customers who top up their gas and electricity prepayment cards/keys, pay bills or make budget payments at Payzone outlets will also be automatically entered into a free prize draw and every week, 100 customers will win £10 towards their energy bills.
 
“This is an exciting campaign for retailers and a real opportunity to get a loyal base of customers which can help drive transactions and footfall in stores,” said Payzone director of bill payment Linda Cook.
 
Payzone suggests retailers make sure the Winter Campaign is displayed prominently in-store, that all staff members are aware of the competition and to let E.ON and npower customers know that they have been entered into the draw. Winners will be announced on February 28.
