The Scottish Grocers’ Federation (SGF) has just issued retailer guidance about the upcoming disposable vape ban, which is due to take effect from 1 June.
The information on the site also includes a link to a downloadable poster (above) for display in stores. The info available includes tips on how to identify an illegal vape and details of the type of products covered by the ban.
It adds: ”In the coming months further changes to the regulations on the sale of vape and tobacco products are expected to be introduced through the UK Government’s Tobacco & Vapes Bill. This is currently being debated in the House of Lords and is separate to the Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) (Scotland) Regulations 2024.”
