With the disposable vape due to come into effect on 1 June, nicotine pouch brand übbs has taken to the streets to offer information and advice – and an exchange – for anyone concerned or confused about the new rules, or looking for alternatives.
From 7am-7pm today (30 May), a team will be on hand at Manchester’s Piccadilly Station offering a ‘Swap Shop’ that invites users to trade in their disposable vape for a free full sample of übbs pouches. These offer an inhalation-free nicotine option with no smoke, tobacco or charging, and zero e-waste, helping people to make the move to simpler, more sustainable options, the brand says.
It adds that 77% of vapers have explored regulated alternatives, including refillable vapes, nicotine gum, patches and pouches.
General manager, Steve McGeough, said: “It’s great to see so many vape users joining us. This event is about making the switch simple - and our research shows us that many are open to better, regulated alternatives. With bold flavours and no smoke, übbs pouches offers a satisfying option without the hassle.”
