Scottish Spar retailer and distributor CJ Lang has announced the appointment of Jim Hepburn as its new company chairman.
Hepburn will lead the main and executive boards at the company, having already been working with both boards since October. He has previously held senior finance positions at a number of leading suppliers, including Dawnfresh Seafoods, Premier Foods, Baxters and Scottish & Newcastle.
The former chair, Mrs Joan Scott-Adie, has stepped down and wil take up a new role as life president, through which she will continue to actively contribute to the company.
Earlier this year the company anounced the appointment of Colin McLean as its new chief executive.
