
Haxby Co-op in North Yorkshire reopened its doors to the local community today (30 April) following a lengthy three-month investment programme.
Located in Ryedale Court, Haxby, the store is relaunching with a fresh new look and range, with opening hours now extended to 7am-10pm, every day of the week.
New refrigeration cuts energy consumption and supports Co-op’s carbon reduction goals, while also enhancing the range and choice of fresh and chilled products.
Services such as an in-store bakery, parcel collection, recycling facilities and more have also been added to the new store. Home delivery is also available via Deliveroo and Just Eat, with Uber Eats due to be added soon.
Josephine Turnbull, Co-op area manager, said: “We have a focus on offering quality products, value and choice that can be enjoyed by everyone alongside other added services. The store has been transformed and the whole team’s really looking forward to welcoming our members and customers back into the store now works are concluded.”
