The lightly sparkling fruit drink is available in a 500ml bottle format in blackcurrant and raspberry flavours. New product development continues to be a strong driver in soft drinks, says manufacturer GSK. The recent raspberry npd generated sales of £2m in its first year ( Nielsen).
Ribena Sparkling is expected to appeal to new consumers as well as current Ribena buyers. It is avaialble now in case sizes of 12. Both variants are available in 99p pricemarked packs.
A nationwide outdoor advertising and online campaign will run during May, forming part of an £11m marketing campaign for the Ribena brand in 2011.
