Special K is aiming to help retailers reach health-conscious shoppers in 2019 with the launch of a new protein cereals range and variety pack.

The new Special K Protein line-up, launching in January 2019, will be available in two flavours: berries; and nuts. Both cereals will contain 12% protein and carry an rrp of £2.99.

To make space for Special K Protein, the Special K Nourish brand will be discontinued. To help consumers and retailers with the transition, existing packs of Special K Nourish will carry a peel-back sticker, which will reveal a unique voucher to be redeemed on all Special K Protein cereals.

The Special K Protein range will also be joined next year by a new variety pack for Special K original and red berries. The new four pack, containing mini Special K cereals, will have an rrp of £1.79.
