Maxxium UK has launched a range of smaller case sizes and fractional packs.

The new range is designed to help retailers capitalise on the fact that nearly half the spirits sold in convenience are smaller than 375ml (Nielsen). The range includes Courvoisier VS and VSOP, Macallan Gold, Highland Park and Jim Beam in 350ml bottles. There is also a Courvoisier VS 200ml bottle.

Courvoisier, Macallan Gold and Highland Park case sizes have also been reduced to four bottles to help retailers manage cash flow.

Maxxium UK’s sales controller for cash & carry and impulse, Andrew Morrison said: “Maxxium UK is supporting the independent sector with new fractionals and smaller case sizes to meet retailer needs. We understand that driving trial is important in building brand loyalty and shelf space remains a challenge. By offering leading brands such as Courvoisier and The Macallan as fractionals and in smaller cases, we are enabling retailers to present premium spirits to their customers in accessible formats.
