Bacardi has introduced Bacardi Gold rum to the UK off trade.

With an ABV of 40% and rrp of £21, Bacardi Gold Rum is designed to target consumers who want to try more robust flavours of rum to consume at home.

UK & Ireland brand director Lisa Jazwinski said: “We’re bringing new innovation such as Bacardi Gold Rum at 40% ABV into the UK off trade where there is a genuine consumer interest in the golden rum sub-category. With the sub-categories of golden and spiced rum continuing to experience double-digit growth, while recruiting new consumers, it’s important that consumers are aware that Bacardi offers a full range of products to meet a variety of at-home consumption occasions.”
