Allied Bakeries has launched a range of seeded loaves under its Kingsmill brand. Available in Secretly Seeded, Lightly Seeded and Really Seeded, it is hoped the range will capitalise on the 7.1% growth of the market in the past year (Nielsen Total Coverage 52 weeks ending December 4, 2010) and offer consumers a simple seeded bread option. The launch will be supported by a £700,000 marketing campaign as well as pos material.
