The Village Store at the University of Sheffield has signed a new partnership with Nisa.

The store, situated on the Endcliffe Student Village at the university, was originally supplied by P&H but began taking supplies from Nisa in September.

With all major supermarkets a 20-minute walk away, store manager Rachel Fletcher believes its convenient location and product range will ensure the continued success of the shop.

“Convenience is exactly what we are about. We can’t compete with the large supermarkets but we have exactly what the students need, all on hand, and at competitive prices,” she said.

“It is still early days but we’re enjoying the access to such a great range and I think our students are too.”

Following the Co-op’s acquisition of Nisa in May, the arrival of the new Co-op own label range will feature throughout the store.
