
Tesco has confirmed its convenience estate expansion is on course to deliver more than 70 new stores by March 2027.
The supermarket giant, who opened 60 new Express stores in 2025, said its expansion includes the acquisiton of five former Amazon Fresh stores in London.
The former Amazon Fresh sites in Kensington High Street, Hounslow, Moorgate, Aldgate East and Wembley will reopen as Tesco Express stores before the summer.
New Tesco Express locations in 2026 also include Bickington (Devon), Pontrhydyrun (Torfaen), Strabane (County Tyrone) and Wallyford (East Lothian).
