Nisa Express Brook Street and Nisa Express North John Street have donated to Al Tayseer Mosque, a local registered charity based in the Liverpool city area, through Co-op Wholesales charity partner, Making a Difference Locally.

The donation will support the mosque’s ongoing work providing food and hot meals to people in need facing poverty and hardship within the local community.

The Al Tayseer Mosque supports individuals and families regardless of background, ensuring help is accessible and welcoming to all communities.

It is estimated that between 20 and 50 people will directly benefit from this donation, helping to ensure continued access to essential food support during challenging times.

Owner of Sam’s Retail Group, which owns the two stores, Sam Nahshall, said: “We’re proud to support Al Tayseer Mosque and the vital work they do for people in our community. Knowing that this donation will help provide meals for those who need it most is incredibly important to us. Supporting causes that are open and welcoming to everyone is at the heart of what we try to do as a local store.”

A representative from Al Tayseer Mosque said: “This donation will help our cause as it will allow us to have more funding for helping people in the local community. We provide food and hot meals for people who are in need and experiencing poverty. As a local registered charity in the Liverpool city area, this support will positively impact many individuals and families.”
