Scottish retailers can take advantage of some free advice with the launch of an interactive DVD aimed at promoting workplace learning.
The DVD has been compiled by Skillsmart Retail in conjunction with the Scottish Grocers' Federation (SGF). It features employer and employee testimonials and will be distributed to the SGF's 600 members.
Skillsmart Retail's manager for Scotland Ian McAvoy said: "This new tool demonstrates to retailers the business benefits of embracing work-based learning and harnessing the development of employee skills to build a more successful business."
The DVD is partly funded by the Scottish Executive and is available free from Skillsmart Retail on 020 7399 3450.
