Entries now open for The Convenience Awards 2024

Entries for the Convenience Awards are now open.

Taking place on 21 March 2024 at The Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, the ceremony is one of the highlights of the industry calendar.

There are 13 store categories for retailers to enter, including the new Responsible Retailing Award. As well as these self-entry categories, the Retailers’ Retailer of the Year Award and the top prize in the sector, Convenience Retailer of the Year, are up for grabs.

The event will also crown the winners of the research-based categories, powered by Lumina Intelligence’s Convenience Tracking Programme, the largest piece of convenience research in the UK.

Editor of Convenience Store, Aidan Fortune, encouraged retailers to get involved. “Judging the Convenience Awards is one of the highlights of my role and I’m looking forward to seeing entries from the amazing stores in this industry. We’ve seen some amazing finalists and winners over the years, and it’s always exciting to see what retailers are doing in their stores.

“I urge all retailers to enter the awards, with so many categories up for grabs, there’s a great opportunity to celebrate your store and your team.”

For the first time, the Convenience Awards will be held in Manchester.

“The awards represent the entire United Kingdom so we took the decision to take the Convenience Awards to Manchester in order to celebrate a broader spectrum of retailers,” said Fortune. “We’re looking forward to visiting Manchester and celebrating with the entire industry.”
