The village of Cuckfield’s Co-op has relaunched in time for Easter, opening today (31 March) following a four-week investment programme to extend the community store.
Located in Whiteman’s Green, Cuckfield, the store supports 13 local jobs and opens between 7am-10pm daily.
The investment has created a fresh new look, with structural work increasing the shopfloor to enhance the range and choice - including the addition of Costa Coffee Express and, new refrigeration which cuts energy consumption while increasing the range of fresh and chilled products.
Tom Harper, area manager, said of the relaunch: “We work to ensure the store is a hub locally, and we have a focus on offering quality products, value and choice that can be enjoyed by everyone. This sits alongside added services including payment services, bakery and the quick online home delivery of groceries.
”The store’s been transformed with a great new look and the whole team is really looking forward to welcoming the community back into their Co-op.”
