A South Yorkshire retailer has been killed following a machete attack at his store.
Parvaiz Iqbal, 40, of Bismillah Food Store in Eastwood, Rotherham, was found dead at the store at 2pm on Tuesday 15 October. He was married with three children. Parvaiz had run the store with his brother.
A second man was also found seriously injured at the scene. He remains in hospital where his condition is described as stable.
After the attack at the store, the assailant proceeded to smash car windows and went to a nearby Tesco before being apprehended by South Yorkshire Police. There has been speculation that he may have previously worked at the store. He has been charged with the murder of Parvaiz.
