GLAXOSMITHKLINE is adding a new apple variant to its Lucozade Energy range.
The launch is supported by a new advertising campaign, nationwide sampling and in-store point-of-sale material.
Further support will come from a £5.2m advertising campaign to support the entire Lucozade Energy range between now and September.
The new variant is the first addition to the range since the launch of wild berry in March 2004. Other flavours include original, orange, lemon and tropical.
Lucozade Energy is growing by 9.5% year-on-year, according to AC Nielsen figures.
Lucozade Energy apple will be available in 380ml and 500ml single PET bottles plus 6x380ml multipacks.
