United Biscuits (UB) is expanding further in the cake aisle with the launch of McVitie’s Teacakes in two flavours.
The range brings Britain’s favourite biscuit brand to the Cake aisle in the form of McVitie’s Digestives and McVitie’s Hobnobs combined with soft marshmallow, layered with chocolate and topped with caramel flavoured pieces or oaty-biscuit crumb for a delicious and sweet teatime treat.
Available now in two variants – McVitie’s Digestives Caramel Teacakes and McVitie’s Milk Chocolate Hobnobs Teacakes – the sweet treats are available in packs of eight (rrp £1.65).
With strong initial response from retailers, UB is predicting a high sales value for the range which is due to sit amongst premium ranges in the Cake fixture.
