UFIT Protein drinks have launched an Iced Latte variant.
UFIT Iced Latte combines 100% Arabica coffee with 22g protein for a ’healthy’ iced coffee drink that is low in fat and has no added sugar.
The new variant not only offers the nutritious benefits of a high protein shake but also contains 113mg of natural caffeine from Arabica beans for a natural ‘pick-me-up’ and can be used at any time of the day as a snack or on-the-go.
Co-owner and marketing director Terry Adams explained how the new member of the UFIT family will allow the brand to bring new protein consumers into the category, he said “Our aim has always been to increase category penetration by offering a range of products that are nutritionally superior, taste delicious and offer an accessible entry point for new protein users. We’ve been perfecting our Iced Latte variant for some time and we are extremely pleased with the final result.
Sales Director Huw Miller added “We’ve bought together 2 exciting categories that are seeing explosive growth. The coffee market is booming, as is the protein category and we feel our latest development will offer a real opportunity for both our existing and new retail partners to offer a product that a broad range of consumers will be able to relate to.
UFIT Iced Latte joins the Strawberry and Chocolate variants and is available in 310ml format, RRP £2.
The new launch is being supported with a campaign including PR, social media and nationwide sampling.
