Foster’s Gold, a premium version of the UK’s number one standard lager brand, is to be launched on July 18.
The new line is aimed at core Foster’s drinkers who need a more suitable product for mixed social occasions such as barbecues.
Brewed to 4.8% abv and supplied in 300ml embossed clear glass bottles, the new line will be backed by a multi-million pound media campaign kicking off during the August Bank Holiday. Brand owner Heineken is committed to supporting it for at least two years.
Foster’s Gold should be priced in line with and merchandised alongside other premium bottled lagers. A six-bottle carrypack pricemarked at £5.50 will be available as well as unmarked stock. A 12-pack will also be available.
