The winners of the inaugural Video Box Office Store of the Year award were announced at a lunch held at the Sony Centre in London’s Soho. Eight independent retailers each received a cheque for £1,000 as part of the prize as well as enjoying a day in London and an advance screening of the new blockbuster movie The Longest Yard.
