British American Tobacco (BAT) is hoping to set the cigarette market alight with Vogue Perle – the UK’s first demi-slim cigarette. Designed to appeal to adult female smokers, Vogue Perle is thinner and taller than a King Size cigarette, but slightly shorter and broader than the existing Vogue Super Slim format. The brand will be available from May in Bronze and Menthe packs of 20. The packs, which carry a pearlescent finish, will also be available pricemarked. Buoyed by a multimillion pound support package, the brand would compete against Marlboro Gold Touch and L&B Silver, BAT said.
