Nirvana’s new Hazy Grapefruit Lager is 0.3% ABV and sits alongside its Cloudy Lemon Lager.

Alcohol free brewery, Nirvana, has bolstered its fruit line-up with Hazy Grapefruit Lager at 0.3% ABV, which joins its successful Cloudy Lemon Lager.

The launch coincides with a major surge in popularity for fruit-led beers across all segments of the market. Described as “bright, citrusy and refreshingly crisp,” the new Hazy Grapefruit features a natural pink grapefruit lemonade blended with Nirvana’s Pils, producing a zesty, refreshing beer with a vibrant pink hue, and is available in 500ml bottles and 330ml cans.

The launch takes Nirvana’s lager offering up to four, including its multi-award winning Pils and Helles and a strong no/low summer line-up that also features its core IPA and classic Bavarian Hefeweizen.

James Ragabliati, head brewer at Nirvana said: “We’ve been inspired again by the Bavarian tradition of Radlers - low-strength fruit-led beers. It’s bright, juicy and beautifully balanced, with just enough malt backbone to remind you this is serious brewing.”

Hazy Grapefruit Lager is Nirvana’s second new beer in its 10th anniversary year, following the launch of Mocha Porter in January.

The bottles carry and RRP of £4, with the cans priced at £2.75.
