One Stop franchisees are set to benefit from a new service to help them capitalise on the news and magazines category.
The news solution from One Stop will improve promotional activity, availability and ranging, while allowing franchisees to manage Home News Delivery from the store’s epos system.
The package will provide retailers with a consistent range that allows the addition of locally-requited titles, supported by regular promotions on both news and magazines, including national campaigns.
One Stop and its existing news provider, Fore Retail Consultancy, will share their knowledge of the category with franchisees, with access to publishers also helping to build their understanding.
Andrew King, One Stop franchise director, said: “Our news solution will help franchisees to manage an often complex and time-consu8ming category, ensuring they have the right range in place and a strong promotion programme.
“Franchisees will retail responsibility for invoicing, returns, credits and HND accounts, although the integration of HND within our epos system will assist greatly in this respect.”
The solution is being launched to all existing franchisees on 22 September.
