Nisa is claiming a new record high for on-time deliveries, achieving a level above 96% during the summer peak period.
The group invested heavily in its supply chain resources this year, anticipating problems in the transition of the Costcutter estate to P&H as its delivery partner, and aiming to position itself as a “safe pair of hands” for retailers.
Nisa also achieved a 98.2% availability rate through its central distribution network this summer, including maximum availability on all key lines, the group stated.
Supply chain director Jonathan Stowe said: “With over 20,000 deliveries made each week, Nisa has recently invested a great deal of time and knowledge into its supply chain to ensure it meets its retailers’ expectations especially through the recent transition away from Costcutter.
“Nisa operates for the benefit of independent retailers and in many ways it is a shame that Costcutter retailers will no longer benefit from our sector leading delivery service.”
